This park was established in 1975 and counts close to 33,400 hectares.
You won't fail to see the 5897m-height volcano Cotopaxi which has the perfect shape of a cone and is actually the second highest peak of Ecuador.
The park also have, among other peaks, the Rumiñahui, 4712 m.
